On the morning of June 3rd, mayor Cheng Yongwen of Wuhan Municipal People's Government met with the delegation led by Mr. Jan Craps, Co-Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Budweiser APAC in Wuhan, Hubei Province, with Mr. Peng Hao, member of the Standing Committee of Wuhan Municipal Committee and Deputy Secretary of Wuhan Municipal Government Party Group and other leaders attending the meeting. Dr. Liu Xiaozhi, Independent Director of AB InBev; Y.J. Cheng, Chief Supply & Logistics Officer of Budweiser APAC; Linda Qian, Chief People Officer of Budweiser APAC; Masson Zhang, Central China President of Budweiser APAC and Gracy Gao, Vice President of Corporate Affairs of Budweiser China attended the meeting as well.

Jan Craps expressed his sincere gratitude to Wuhan and Hanyang District governments for their great support and assistance to Budweiser APAC's development, especially in 2020, when Wuhan brewery became the first company to reopen after epidemic peak in Hanyang District with the help of government. He said that the Wuhan brewery was the first brewery built in China, and the only Research & Development center of Budweiser APAC, which is also our largest craft brewery production workshop. By the end of 2021, Budweiser APAC Wuhan brewery will be AB InBev's first carbon-neutral brewery globally. In Wuhan, this hero city, we have the opportunity to share the latest sustainable development achievements, and the carbon neutral investment will keep supporting green economy and together nurture the new glory of Wuhan.

The two sides had an in-depth exchange on further discussions around carbon neutrality, supply chain layout, technology innovation, sales support, beer festivals, and beer food street creation. Budweiser APAC's advanced concepts and corporate social responsibility were also highly praised by Wuhan government.
