March 17th, the 2nd China Culture & Entertainment Industry Annual Meeting and Grand Ceremony, hosted by CCEA and co-organized by China Song and Dance Entertainment Industry Association and China Network Music Association (CNMA), was successfully held in Guangzhou. Chief Sales Officer Luke Zhou was invited to the In-depth Talk and awarded as “Most Influential People 2020”, and Budweiser China won “Excellent Beverage Supplier 2020”.
As the highest-level specialized organization, CCEA is the national first-class association, administrated by Ministry of Civil Affairs and Ministry of Culture, supported by Public Security Bureau, and the initiative units include the most representative organizations and institutions, covering multiple entertainment formats and full industrial chain. During the 2nd Annual Meeting, elites from all walks of life in the industry discussed the high quality development, also covering many sectors like industry annual reports, initiatives, strategic cooperation agreements, IP protection and in-depth talk.
Mr. Liu Jinhua, President of China Song and Dance Entertainment Industry Association in his speech, stressed in the first year of 14th five year plan, the Song and Dance Industry should be promoted as an example to become a “supporting industry” that is consistent with the national strategic development. Mr. Kong Ming, Secretary of the Association, reviewed industry performance and pointed out that though industry revenue declined versus 2019 with COVID impact, KTV revenue contributed as high as 73.9% and its dominant position in the industry was unshakable. The new generation has gradually become the main consumption force, and innovation is leading to qualitative changes. The short-term development is still contained by the epidemic, the long-term development is promising.
In the in-depth dialogue, Luke made a speech on promoting night economic growth, to create a new sign of urban vitality and promoting new consumption trade up. He said that since its entry into China in 1995, Budweiser has been adhering to and practicing "Bring People Together for A Better World", and has been an important player in the design and development of night economic chain. In particular in the second half of last year's epidemic, Budweiser China worked hand in hand with local governments to promote a number of action plans for the recovery of night economy and invest the creation of night catering, the upgrading of offline song and dance entertainment experience, the promotion of online entertainment consumption, etc., to enrich the night life of Chinese consumers together with other industry players.
At the Grand Ceremony, Luke won the "2020 Most Influential Person Award", and Budweiser China won the "2020 Excellent Beverage Supplier". Mr. Liu Jinhua, President of the Association, presented the award and praised Budweiser China's contribution to promoting the development and transformation of night economy, and highly recognized Budweiser China's positive leading influence to the industry. Later Luke also presented awards to the influential KTVs in 2020.
The Meeting was held after the epidemic in 2020 and at the beginning of the 14th five year plan, which has given the whole industry great confidence and once again helped the industry to clarify the overall goal of the next development cycle. As an important field of cultural industry, Song and Dance Entertainment Industry undertakes the important responsibility of exporting and inheriting Chinese excellent traditional culture and satisfying people's pursuit of a better life. The industry must constantly try mode innovation, content innovation and technology innovation, and strictly abide by the safety bottom line. With the joint efforts of the industry, the Entertainment Industry will usher in an era of high-quality development.
