OBC and RE:harvest announced their 5 million worth of donations including school supplies and RE:nergy bars to Gangnam Welfare Foundation.
School supplies were purchased using partial proceeds of RE:nergy bar crowdfunding. List of donated supplies include but not limited to spiral notebooks, note pads, pencils and pencil cases.
The goal of this donation event is to congratulate the commencement of a new academic semester and to continue carrying out various social contribution activities to uplift and encourage the local community, who are having a hard time during this elongated era of COVID-19.
RE:nergy bar is a high-protein energy bar that OBC jointly launched with RE:harvest and was revealed through the crowd funding platform, Wadiz. RE:harvest is a new local venture company specializing in food upcycling. Food upcycling refers to the rebirth of high value-added products by utilizing byproducts naturally produced from food manufacturing process.
