Release date:December 10, 2020

Budweiser China has been declared the winner of “100 Excellence Employer of China of 2020” award for 10 times in a row, an award sponsored by 51job, Inc., the leading integrated human resources service provider in China. We’ve been recognised for our outstanding human resource management in light of the rapidly evolving business environment in China.

The award is being presented to 100 companies in China whose human resources practices have made a significant contribution to their corporate development. Companies were assessed based on ten criteria, compared, and analyzed the data from the candidates in the same industry. Our best practices on employee training, talent recruitment and retention, corporate social responsibilities and many other aspects in human resource management were greatly recognised and made us to have a leading position in the market with continued development.

We’ve also received “2020 China’s Best Employer Award” from zhaopin.com, a leading career platform in China. Budweiser is proud to rank as No. 11 in the “Top 30 Employer of the Year”. This is the fourth time in a row Budweiser has been included in the “Top 30 Employer” list, moving three places ahead from last year's ranking.

The "China BEST Employer" award, zhaopin.com and the Social Research Center of Peking University, has become one of the most influential employer awards in China. Budweiser received high recognition from employees for employer brand, strong identification with the company's culture, and the opportunities to learn and grow from work.

A lot of effort has gone into receiving these awards by People teams and all colleagues. This year, we launched and revamped our Career website, embedded EVP across all digital and social assets, conducted the Bud Challenge to attract top talent across the globe, launched BU China D&I committee, Domestic Violence Policy, Development Week, other people transformation processes amongst other continued efforts.

It is believed that people are the great strength in Budweiser China, and the company has made great efforts in living the principle of great people growing at the pace of their own talent and being rewarded.

Great people are the most valuable assets of our company and will continue to lead our organization to accomplish the mission of becoming the best beer company in a better world.
