On Dec 8th, 2020 Budweiser China Hope School Basketball Training Camp successfully opened online. Li Ye, Head Coach of Shanghai Youth Basketball Team, headmasters and teachers from 27 Budweiser China Hope Schools and Frank Wang, Chief Legal & Corporate Affairs Officer, Budweiser APAC were invited to attend the webinar.
The Basketball Training Camp Program was officially launched in early 2017. So far, more than 8000 students and 27 Hope schools have benefited from the program. In these four years, we have donated basketballs, training clothes and other supplies to Budweiser China Hope Schools throughout the country. In consideration of the lack of basketball knowledge and popularity, the training camp instructed how to conduct theoretical and practical training on warm-up and stretching, basic shooting techniques, dribbling and passing by online training video this time.
You must remember that at the 5th Budweiser China Beer Run award ceremony in October this year, Budweiser China committed to donate a total of 346 basketball balls to Budweiser China Hope Schools converted from the total mileage completed by runners on that day. In today's basketball training camp, these basketball and video tutorials were sent to the teachers and students.
Just as Frank Wang, Chief Legal & Corporate Affairs Officer, Budweiser APAC, said ‘Budweiser China hopes that our kids dare to have dreams and become outstanding talents. We are always your solid shield for you to pursue your dream. We believe in dream big and big dream. Together with the dedication of all teachers, we can help our kids fulfill their basketball dream.’
Bringing people together for a better world’ is our purpose, and is also the commitment we keep fulfilling as always.
