Budweiser China Lime Poverty Alleviation Project was officially launched in luogu Village, Shuanglong Street Township, Anyue County, Sichuan Province in 2019. As an important part of Brewing a Better World, this project not only fully embodies corporate social responsibility, but also responds to the call of Poverty alleviation through industry by Chinese government.

For the local area, the landing of this project provides local farmers with local jobs opportunities and technical support to optimize the quality of unsalable lime. And at the same time, by seizing the opportunity of Corona's brand influence, we sell beer bundling with poverty alleviation lime, we promote high-quality Anyue’s lime to beer lovers all over the country and even around the world in order to achieve purchase instead of donation and increase local villagers’ income.

For Budweiser China, the Anyue’s Lime produced by the poverty alleviation project has been supplied to the Corona market across the country due to its high quality and low price. According to price calculations, Anyue’s Lime will bring about 16.4% annual cost savings for the company’s Corona+Lime procurement. The project was highly valued by Ziyang municipal governments at all levels, and with the help of local government, on the second World Lemon Industry Conference, Budweiser poverty alleviation lime+Corona CP officially appeared publicly to the world, and Corona brand shined.
