OBC announced to hold ‘Water and Human Illustration Contest’ with Korea Green Foundation and Naver Grafolio from Oct.13 to Nov.11.
The ‘Water and Human illustration Contest’ is designed to motivate participants to express the importance of water through illustration and widespread the importance of keeping water clean, an essential part of our lives. Stella Artois, partnered with ‘Water.org’ since 2015, will provide an official sponsorship.
‘Water and Human illustration Contest’ is open to all age groups; anyone who wants to express ‘the importance of water’ in one of the three categories: Water and Lifestyle, Water and Life, Water and Job.
Assessment of submitted illustrations will be conducted by judges (80%) and Grafolio members (20%), seeking for compatibility, completeness, delivery, creativity, etc. Top 16 illustrations will be selected and a total of KRW 7.5 million will be given as rewards. Bae Sung Tae, Korea’s famous illustrator, well known as ‘grim_b’ will participate as a special judge.
The winning illustration will be exhibited at an Art Museum in Seoul, during the week of ‘World Water Day 2021(Mar.22)’ A number of other enlisted illustrations will be utilized as designs of Stella Artois’ ‘World Water Day 2021’ limited edition cups.
An official from OBC stated, “We hope this contest will serve as an opportunity for everyone to realize the importance of water, and its interrelation to our lives.”
The ‘Water and Human Illustration Contest’ is a contest held by OBC in partnership with the Korea Green Foundation. ‘Water and Human Photo Contest’ was held in 2019 and ‘Water and Human Film Festival’ was held in 2018.
