“I pledge to never drink and drive in the name of my family; not even for a second!”
OBC announced the launch of a ‘Drunk Driving’ prevention campaign, targeting newly licensed drivers at Gangnam Driver's License Examination Office.
On the day of the event, OBC and KoROAD received non-face-to-face no drunk driving pledges from newly licensed drivers at Gangnam Driver’s License Exam Office. Visitors used their smartphones to scan the QR code that links to ‘Smart Pledge for Smart Drinking Campaign’ website and joined the pledge to never drink and drive. OBC CEO and officials from KoROAD also attended the event to encourage online pledge participation.
OBC displayed an infographic wall which shows drunk driving facts and its dangers, along with prevention methods; and held a section dedicated to OX quiz to better raise awareness of drunk driving issues to the public.
‘Smart Pledge for Smart Drinking Campaign’ is open to public and anyone 19 and above may a participate. QR codes that link to online pledge website will be displayed nationwide, at 27 Driver’s License Exam Offices at license pick up desks, until the 29th next month.
An official from OBC stated, “OBC annually holds a campaign to prevent new drivers from drink driving. This is to implement safe driving habits to new drivers. As a liquor industry leader, we will continue to remain committed to establish a healthy drinking culture.”
