“I pledge to never drink and drive; not even for a second!”
OBC announced to hold a month-long ‘Smart Pledge Campaign for Smart Drinking’ in partnership with KoRoad(Korea Road Traffic Authority).
The ‘Smart Pledge Campaign for Smart Drinking,’ is a nationwide online pledge event, where participants pledge to promise that they will never drink and drive. Drinking a sip of alcohol means no driving at all, not even for a second. The goal is to raise awareness; short distance drunk drivers often become habitual drunk drivers.
Those who wish to pledge, can participate by accessing the link that goes live from August 27 to September 29 by taking a ‘Fundamentals to No Drunk Driving’ OX quiz then writing their names on the pledge page to complete the process.
‘Modu Parking Lot’, Korea’s number one online ‘Parking Space Guide’ platform and ‘Carang’, Korea’s number one car maintenance service application, are also working as partners of OBC for this campaign to motivate their application users to pledge ‘No Drunk Driving.’
An official from OBC stated, “By having families come out and pledge ‘No Drink Driving,’ I hope to see a widespread of smart drinking culture across the nation.”
Anyone 19 and above, is eligible to participate in the ‘Smart Pledge Campaign for Smart Drinking.’ Campaign details can be found on OBC’s official website, Instagram, and Facebook page.
