OBC announced on the 20th that with the Korea Green Foundation, it will launch an online campaign “Thank You, Water” for people to express their appreciation for water through comments in commemoration of World Water Day, designated by the United Nations on March 22.
OBC is conducting the “Thank You, Water” online campaign with the aim of reflecting on activities and moments in life that require water and sharing them in comments to show the importance of water, an essential element of life. Any Facebook and Instagram user can participate in the event by following OBC’s official Facebook and Instagram accounts, and commenting on the “World Water Day” event post with your appreciation for water up until the 26th, like “Thank you water. Thanks to you, I can wash my hands to prevent disease.”
OBC will select 50 participants who have posted the most original and sincere comments, and award them a small gift. In addition, a donation of 1,000 KRW per participant will be accumulated and used to help domestic areas with water shortages.
“In commemoration of World Water Day, we have prepared a campaign that anyone can easily participate online and via mobile. We hope this event serves as an opportunity to reflect upon how indispensable water is and be thankful for it.” said OBC spokesman.
